I interpret it as UglyWorldWide shining a different light on / painting a picture of society's basic constructs & how fleeting/meaningless they are. Shopping, buying, searching for validation in products, etc., provide nothing "real". Modeling is just a way to push/promote/emphasize these vapid characteristics within human beings & it works. If you go against the grain, you're considered "weird" and you're laughed at. However that may be exactly what's necessary. Everything means nothing and some things mean even less than that - but we're stuck bc of tradition, expectations, and what's considered "the norm." We hide from ourselves and get lost in empty concepts only to lose who we are even further. Thus "chaos" ensues in the very fabric of what it means to exist. We want to believe we are different, that we aren't this way, but the fact of the matter is that we do care about society's expectations even when we're not acting in accordance of them. However those that do search for their own paths are often alone and likely internalize the frustration, anger, anxiety, and even depression from being mocked which in turn causes us to feel "sick" like UglyWorldWide does. It's really beautiful and encapsulates a lot of hard truths in a 6 minute video. I love it. Great job.
