It is super odd (and actually quite refreshing) to see one of the most iconic names in modern sport being treated as a normal human being and not as some sort of demi god. You could be guaranteed for certain that if Messi had done this in Barcelona, Paris, or in his native Argentina, the whole place would literally be brought to a standstill and he and his family would be swarmed by hundreds of fellow shoppers demanding selfies, photos, autographs etc.

I just feel the pressure that people give him in shouldering the inter Miami or pull the team from mud to mountain top. That’s really a do or die season for him. Hope if he play and didn’t win people won’t say anything bad about him. After all Messi is just one and the game must win by team and if the team mates can’t sync to his agility or mentality like Suarez and Neymar how can he pull that off.. it’s really hard but hopefully his magic will prevail. I will be happy watching that for sure

It doesn't matter lol, Messi is half-retired and only want to enjoy some casual fun with football, it doesn't matter he win or lose. Nothing can challenge his GOAT status anymore. Just relax and enjoy his performance.
