I still like the 40 minute vlog with a bunch of vlogs in it that are depicted throughout your day. It would be cool every now and then and it doesn't have to be in Casey's exact style.

And that's why you're you and I'm me. If you don't like a project you're working on, you finish it before scrapping it. I think I've learned something pretty valuable from this. Thanks broski

I was playing Dark Souls 3 and thought "This would be a fun game to impose challenges" as soon as you said it. Kinda blew my mind. You also might like Many A True Nerd's Fallout challenges, where he treats his health bar as a constant, never healing and only losing when his health reaches '0'. They're great.

I think the best idea for a specialty run is that you go through a Kirby game, and every time you die, you have to either point out a weakness in something you love, or be forced to watch a video from an anime KZbinr you can't stand.

Please keep doing the thing where you start the clip by entering the room in a wideshot and then walk towards the camera though. I liked that part from mail #5. It feels very Nelstat but it works for you.

Good points. Yup failure is all part of the process. And of course some things a creator would consider a failure could be perceived as a success by others. Quantity leads to quality. Put the mileage in, and your bound to make something worthwhile eventually.

Is there ever any chance we'll get to see the 25 birthday vlog at all? Some of your old Modal Hsoul vids where it's just a day in the life of you and your friends are really fun and relaxing videos to just see you chilled out hanging with people that I might not be too familiar with.

There's a documentary called "The Five Obstructions" by Lars Von Trier, which is kinda like that nuzzlocke challenge you mention, but in film. Might give you ideas to limit yourself, if you'll still consider it as a way to explore or grow your creativity.
@jackedmondson61858 жыл бұрын
What you should do when you film like that is do freeze frames and have the situation described in a title card or have words flash across the screen kill la kill style, make it all aesthetic and shit while giving context to what your mindset of filming is in a short of mixed media way. The voyeuristic way you film sounds cool as shit honestly, like some lars von treir or harmony koine or something like that.

I love doing challenge runs in games. I'm doing a randomized nuzlocke in emerald. I am on my 3rd sl1 run in dark souls. And I love going for hours in a warframe survival. And I am a guy who uses chance way too much. I use coin flips to decide on purchases and my favorite card in yugioh is the gambler of legend which is all about coin tosses.

Mumkey listed a list a youtube that he based his work on in his mumkey reviews/mumkey reviews(1 of the most meta things he has done,he of course 1 uped with mumkey reviews/mumkey reviews/mumkey reviews). So that guy was also inspired by a lot of people,I guess thats how things are in general other just that most aren't honest about it.
