Thus, an average/median/mode conference finals length will lead to a ' _1 week build up_ ' (ie, 5-7 days). So, with-or-without this year's early conference terminations, *the June 6th date* (which the NBA scheduled) was going to create this weeks-long anticipation [for Game 1]. And the build-up is good; especially for those of us who only watch playoff basketball.

Brian forgot that the Mavs defeated the no.1 defensive team this season .The Timberwolves even had the 6th man of the year .The Mavs even closed the series on the road. The Celtics is just no.5 defensive team this season .The Mavs have two tough and athletic big men who are twice bigger than Porzingis , Gafford and Lively are a match up problem in the paint and there's nobody big enough in the Celtics lineup to defend them.

Windy thought Clippers, OKC and Wolves would win. Most sports caster said, Luka and Kyrie need to play great every single game to win the WCF. Luka didn’t play well on some games against the Clippers. Kyrie didn’t play good every game against OKC. And yet here we are, Mavs in NBA finals. After suffering from consecutive losses against Celtics, 76ers and Pacers, Mavs has changed its starters and rotations So, from March 7 to April 10, last games played by Luka/ Kyrie and Taytum/Brown, Mavs had 16 wins and 2 losses while Bostons had 15 wins and 4 losses. Mavs during that period was no. 1 in offensive and defensive rating. Celtics may have more good players but that doesn’t mean it is the best team if we look at the stats from March 7 to Conference Finals. I say Mavs in 6.

Bettors are using their eyes. Boston played a bunch of scrubs, the eastern conference hasn't been good since the late 90s. And we could say that Boston has a deeper 5. But all of that goes out of the window when luka start making passes. Individual defense and even making great rotation doesn't matter if Luka is finding people like he always has. Unless Boston is blowing Dallas out in every single game, this is going to come down to the last 20 possessions of each game. The question is who do you trust with the last 20 possessions in the game... Luka and kyrie or JT and No left Hand Brown?

NOBODY is betting on the mavs because they’re the underdogs. Basketball lovers and betters are rooting for the mavs because that team wants it more 🤷🏼 I was just on another Espn video and everyone was saying in those comments that espn was not giving boston enough credit. NOT TRUE. ESPN and most other pundits have this year meat rode this team the entire way. In this series it’s not gonna come down to talent/ numbers and who has the better team. This series will be based on which team has the willingness to go the farthest and who wants it more. The Mavs have beaten the odds and have made it to this point. Celtics have cruised past a hurt and limited east. This will be a great series but comparing players and who’s better won’t define these finals.
