I have a theory over why the lich acts the way he does in fiona and cake, if we believe the lich was born from the first human ever killed by the mushroom bomb, it could be that the lich has a human side to it, being that soul it originally birthed from. Its possible that the lich ceased being or lost what made it 'the lich' after completing its task, only leaving a husk with the memories and power of the lich, thus leaving only its human part behind. That human part of him now forced in this empty world.

That’s a really good theory kinda makes me think that the actual lich programing of that lich after just turning off left the host soul warped by the lich’s influence but not giving it any of his rationality for his need of death which is why the lich body is trying to rationalize the lich’s instinctual need to kill with the last scholar golb part because it just can’t understand his instinctual need for death

I've watched so many AMVS with this character, The Lich is such a good villain plus he voiced by the same guy who voiced Slade you can't go wrong with that casting choice.

Hell, yeah! Another AT video! This time about the Big Bad Himself! Some observations: 1-Why they have to abandon the Fire Count and the Cotton Candy Princess in later seasons?! It would way more interesting to see the history of a royal family for the Candy Kingdom, than a semigod control freak creating an entire people because of an experiment going wrong. 2-Your theory of PB becoming more "gray-moral" after the Lich's possession actually makes sense, alongside the Billy/Sweet Pea relation. 3-The existence of Prismo as a dream probably is a nod to Hindu Mythology, were it said that the entire reality is a dream of God Shiva. Later, HP Lovecraft uses it as base for the Eldritch being Azatoth, the Sleeping God. 4-How I imagine the AT writting staff reunions: "Ok, guys, we made a super serious episode to start the season... Now we must do a lot of silly episodes, until the end of the final of the season".

According to Shady Blaze Blizzard, the three most evil characters in Adventure Time from least to most evil are Princess Bubblegum, the Lich and that deer (with a tough call between the 3rd and 2nd most)

28:00 from what i could tell, he convinced farm world fin that he was jake, and basically was able to keep him convinced, likely helped by finn basically being driven crazy, until the end when he tries to kill him

Bro just say the embodiment of evil because that’s what he is ☠️ But W analysis 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
@caseymcdonald97142 ай бұрын
I mean technically he is the embodiment of both death and evil, on the death side we'll look at it this way death is eternal and always trying to get us no matter what, when or where and it will use whatever it can to get all of us eventually. Conversely as an entity of evil well if we use real world people as an example then evil goes out of its way to kill millions and doesn't wait or let you prepare. As it stands with how laid back and calm the lich always is it really does make sense for him being death given form.

personally i felt that golb thing did not ruin it, it made sense, but i can see how given the time between then and the end of the original series, how someone can see it that way as they became so attached to the one from the original series which to be fair at the time was seemingly the end of his story, like since golb predates things far as we know, i can see that he became that evil because the comet his soul stemmed from was evil and he basically doubled down when he learned of golb

the lich is basically the evilest soul in the multiverse, given he keeps being evil despite reincarnations until the whole sweet p thing

i would not say PB is evil, more so morally questionable

the lich is basically trapped in sweet P's subconscious, least that has always been my interpretation

In my opinion the Lich is the personification of human evil, and existed before the mushroom war, all be it way weaker than after. When the mushroom-war happened, the immense cruelty strenghtened the Lich, making him infinitely stronger. However, when he was essentially reborn and got loving parents, that countered the negative effects of his evil magic, turning him into a good person. I know this is rather basic story telling, but I like the idea that even the most evil thing in the universe can redeem itself, if given love.

The Lich is just Adventure Time’s Thanos. An all powerful force of nature that when you peel all the layers back, he’s just a simp for a cosmic deity that wants nothing to do with him.
@simonegesualdo66362 ай бұрын
Yeah Fiona and cake lich is very out of character and it just doesn’t really make sense that he can just choose to not kill especially when all versions of a primordial share there memory’s across the multiverse meaning Jake lich in distant lands should realistically know of his goal eventually leading to his own loss of purpose
