Fantastic, love your play-through comments! And whatever I say about the concert wouldn't do it justice. Legendary performance by legends, I must have watched it thousands of times.

As a guitarist learning Dissection riffs, I find this so awesome to watch. The tips/breakdowns of the parts are super helpful and makes it easier to learn. Makes me want to learn the bass parts too 🤘

Thanks a lot man!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻I'm glad that it helps even on the guitar & if you want to learn bass, I give lessons online ;) I started as a guitar player & went to bass 22 years agao but I play guitar again with my new band FROM KAOS...

Hi Brice, saw your interview with Nate Garrett yesterday. I was at the Dissection gig at Baroeg Rotterdam (December 2004) together with Watain as support band. Why did you left Dissection? Looking forward to hear more from From Kaos!
@briceleclercq10129 күн бұрын
Thanks for the support & for leaving a comment Roeland!🤘🤘🤘 I remember that gig, yes, good one!... Well, I left DISSECTION because I didn't agree on the main business choices, label, manager or producer, studio etc... Mainly, they wanted to release the album on their own & I believed it would have been better for ex to sign with a label at the time. Plus, none of us were business minded enough in my opinion and their company went bankrupt after a year or so.... Don't forget to subscribe if you want to know about new releases/covers.... That being said, I'll have a FROM KAOS KZbin channel up & running soon

A Land Forlorn is such an underrated Dissection song. Sorrowful sounding. You play it just like the guy on the live version 🤔😂. Awesome job again, Brice! Know any Lynyrd Skynyrd songs on bass?

@@briceleclercq101 my drummer is very fast.... Everything in me want to strum the same energy he deploy.... BUT... I get a better impact by slowing down 1/2 or 1/4 picking instead... makes all the difference in the world... and more true into big venues... Keep making videos like this man! It helps people like me to get my shit straight to the point! lml Hail!! lml
@briceleclercq101Ай бұрын
@@audeath666666 My drummer is very fast as well (Janne Jaloma 😉)... More seriously, it's a mistake to think "the faster, the better" on bass. You need to see your instrument as a bridge between the drums & the guitars, like a glue and if it goes too fast, it doesn't glue anymore. Glad that it helps you man! 👊

Thank you very much man! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 I'll do tracks from Reinkaos as well but just for tuning reasons (especially in C or C#), I need to get my hands on a 5 strings bass... In the meanwhile, don't forget to check my new band FROM KAOS. There are a few interesting bass lines on the album in my opinion...

Gorgeous bass. Any issues with the heavier gauge for D tuning? Sometimes on guitar the thicker strings means you have to re-intonate the bridge and file the nut for the wider space. You play in pitch very well!
@briceleclercq101Ай бұрын
Thanks a lot man! I'm very happy about this bass actually... Never thought it would be that good but it's very versatile, very well built & has a nice growling sound that I love. I play 45-105 and I don't touch anything on the intonation when tuning down to D. If you go lower, the strings start to do spaghetti effect thing but it works... If I played in a band that is always tuned to D or C, I would put a heavier set of strings but you normally get a little more tension as well but I don't think that bass is as "delicate" as a guitar so you should be fine.
