Hi Kaelyn. I discovered your channel very recently and I can't tell you how much joy it brings me to see a woman doing what you do. I recently started my bachelor's in Anthropology and History at UCSD, and the quick change of pace did threw me off for a bit. Your content, however, brings me joy, seeing how you are a History student, working on your PhD (I want to get there too), taking care of yourself, and working full-time. I needed to see content exactly like yours to get inspired! Thank you for sharing what you do.

As a full time phd student who also works full time, I love to see that you make time to ride your horse and read. Work life balance is SO SO SO important, and it is all too easy to get sucked into either work or school so much that it consumes you. These videos are a reminder that it is possible to take time for yourself, even with several commitments. Another lovely video! (Also, Moo is too adorable to be true! I am obsessed with her eyebrow game 😂) Eta: oh, and your friend's book looks fantastic! It actually aligns with my field of study, so I will definitely give it a read!

Dear Kaelyn, thanks for sharing your experience of doing it all with this beautiful video. It might be intimidating sometimes to do very different things at the same time and having lots of responisibilites. But the good thing is that you are doing what you want and what you love. This experience creates space and enviroment for learning and developing endlessly. So, thank you for sharing how you navigate everything that you do in your life, at the same time inspiring and motivating us.

I’m currently on ep. 16 and you’re talking about some of the hate comments you got that bring you down. I popped on this one to say that you’re doing great! I’m 43, work a very full-time job, and am in a Master’s program full-time for Ecological Economics. Your videos have been inspirational, calming, and thoroughly enjoyable to keep on in the background while I do my studying. Try not to let the people who are miserable with their own lives and just want to spread that to others bring you down. You’re doing great! And you just got the fellowship in the video, so congrats! 🎉 Plus you always have Moo 😊

I've been feeling the same way. I have just been overwhelmed with school, internship, and work.

My kids brought home diseases last week and I’m still recovering from it. My fear of getting behind and overwhelm was rough last week but now I feel better and I caught up finally! 48 hours of sleep still sounds amazing!! 😂

The conversation you have with Moo is the one I have hourly with my puppers Otto. He is my fur baby. I birthed him. He is mine. My whole World. Wick got nothing on me. He will live forever ❤️❤️

Cut yourself some slack - you did add a FT job on top of your other full-time work! I was just thinking maybe you need a vacation! Listen to your body before it really makes you take a break. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the vampire book (I lost the title at the moment). It's on my consideration list - maybe over winter break, if I can fit it in. :) And I just love watching Moo running all over the barn and fields. Must be a nice change from the city!

You talking to Moo reminds me of the episode of Gilmore Girls when Emily is like "Richard Gilmore you may not die. In fact, I demand that I go first!"

For viewers here, when you study (deep study), do you have music playing in the background? Or just study in total isolation (silence)? Which of these 2 approaches is more effective?
@KaelynGraceAppleАй бұрын
depends on the task! I really can't have anything playing while I write but love listening to music while I am reading
@laurendorsett2619Ай бұрын
It depends...I can have instrumental music going, but it cannot be classical (I get distracted), and cannot have words (I can't stop singing along). But I love some of the hip hop instrumental channels on youtube as background! Depending on what I want to get done, I can sent the vibe with hip hop, or a fall spooky list, or rainy forest, etc.

I am a last year Economics graduate. I will work for one year, gain experience. Can you please suggest some universities in the UK for Masters in Economics??
@mollymo6229Ай бұрын
Loadssssss of uni have economics. Maybe check lead tables and then also check content and most importantly to check if you would like where the university is located and if you could live there
