@JustARTificial Caius would be such a rogue if he was in Dissidia. Garland would try and recruit him over and over and over again, and then Caius would go all, 'LOL NO' and wipe the floor with Garland's sword. Yet Garland would come back, drawn to Caius holding pure chaos in his heart. (Etro's). As far as the line, I just can't help but picture Caius coming across Lightning and going, "And now, warrior goddess, WE CROSS SWORDS!"...Just like in the XIII-2 intro XD

@singerinwhite I would imagine him playing out similar to Cloud, in that he will do whatever it takes to save those he loves. Cloud, saved Tifa from Sephiroth and challenged Chaos by himself! Caius could go either way, be it on Chaos or Cosmos' side. Persuaded by Yeul to protect the heroes in the never ending cycle, or to defeat Cosmos in ending the conflict. No matter how he could be depicted, he is an excellent character, one that reminds me of Squaresoft's work.

@JustARTificial Yeah. And Liam O'Brien most definitely helped with Caius's character. That guy knows what he's doing as a VA for sure. He really fleshed out Caius. I feel that Caius's involvement in Dissidia would largely depend on Yuel. If Yuel gets pulled into the conflict, Caius would go with her and seek to find a way to get Yuel out of it. It's why I feel he'd be a rogue; he does what he feels is best for Yuel, in the end.
