Dear sweet Alan, I have listened to your videos nearly daily for 5 years, and they have profoundly impacted and changed my life. A few weeks ago I got to meet Rupert in person at the Garrison retreat and got go tell him the same thing. I wanted to tell you as well. And after being in the retreat, it's like a new experientially understanding has emerged within me and all your videos sound brand new again. Thank you, thank you, thank you... ❤️

The last punch line by Rupert in this video is, “the best way to prepare to go sleep at the end of of the day is also the best way to prepare to live and to die which is, To be MySelf, the Awareness knowingly” Nice way to end this V-clip. Thanks Alan and Rupert.

In the "heart" there is a finite point which is within the true Self (Atman), and the Atman is a point which is in infinity and is the source of existence. I humbly bow to Rupert's great wisdom. Gratitude to Alan Neachell for sharing with us the eternal light of wisdom radiated by the sages.

Thanks so much for these talks, Alan, and here especially with this one. I really enjoyed the analogy of the whirlpool and then the ripples moving from there into the next form. And also how the engagement of consciousness in a dream is mirrored in the moment by moment engagement with the arising of one thought after another. And then: "To be myself, knowingly...." terrific. Thanks again.

I need help to go over this huddle. I am very much ok with waking, dreaming, and deep sleep states, I am ok with the cycle we are practicing every 24 hours to be similar to what we call death. I am stuck at the point that at death all perceiving is gone! That's what trips us up. Yet in the 24-hour cycle, I wake up, the dog is still with me, the husband, the house, I am still at the same address... I think you get my drift so why does that all go at death, why does all perception disappear? It surely feels like dissolution. Help me with that
@alanneachell9092 Жыл бұрын
By knowing ourselves as aware presence we can recognise that all there is, is experience. Your husband, your body, bedroom dog and death are all experience. No experience is static so coherence is only put together in thought. All experience is equal as aware presence, and you are that. 🙏❣️

3:42... "The Infinite cannot see the finite." I need a little help grasping this statement please.
@alanneachell9092 Жыл бұрын
Your'e asking a very subtle question. In Rupert's model, we can say that infinite Awareness cannot know the finite unless it vibrates in the form of mind and mind IS the apparent finite/world. Its the finite that knows itself. We can see in our own actual experience that time and space are not known when we look clearly at ourselves as awareness prior to those concepts. All concepts are finite.💕🙏

I wonder what infinite ♾ consciousness feels like . Dissolve me . Let’s find out .

Your comments about finite mind loosing energy as it approaches its source, to me it should be said that the kinetic energy gets reduced while the potential part increases, as the total energy remains unchanged ever.

If time is an illusion how can we say we move on from one lifetime to another. Or the end of one whirlpool to the forming of another. Both would need movement in time.
@alanneachell90922 жыл бұрын
If we recognise the present as being "here" -- not a place in time and space but simply the recognition of "here", then we can realise that every apparent changing perception or circumstance is a temporary appearance on "here". In this way the concept of reincarnation is as possible as the next perception or circumstance.
