I love the emotion/storytelling from the voice actors, and the band name "splatfest" was an awesome artistic touch on the writer's part. Fanmade projects can turn out really good like this one, and giving each character a voice gives the project more life, in a way.

4:46 Fun and slightly scary fact: both in the wild and in captivity, female octopuses always die caring for their young's eggs. After spawning the eggs they stop eating to be 24/7 with the eggs, in the end they die of hunger or are so weak that they are eaten by predators... I don't know exactly why, but in captivity once the eggs hatch , the mother octopuses -commit suicide-, continue without eating and sometimes crash into the walls until they drop dead. It is a curious detail(?) that they added that Octavio's mother died after having him as it happens in our world.

Great work as always Yume! But why do I have this unsettling feeling? I can read things that is something like this but I practically never makes me feel uncomfortable in a good way. This is why I love comic dubs, they make whatever picture book it’s tell pop out of said book and perform it right in front of your eyes, but it’s different from regular animation though. Keep up the great work!
