Is there a connection between Volkmann's tubercle and the Volkmann's canals? Is it the same person?

They were both named after German physiologist Alfred Volkmann

@orthopaedicacademy makes sense. If you know that, what about golgi apparatus, and golgi tendon bodies? I know I could look these things up, but I would rather ask.
