Not an actual distance, Just a bird's flight distance in a diagonal straight line. DOES NOT CALCULATE TWO SPECIFIC ADDRESSES.Does not consider twists and turn between the cities. Just a aeroplan distance.

Exactly, but that's the only viable option because multiple routes are possible. The ideal case should be flight distance in the diagonal straight line as you mentioned.

Connect to the internet first. This works only with internet connection as the distance are calculated from the Google maps
