This was released as a single in 2006 on Planet Mu with 'Cyclops' on the flip. It was only on the CD version of My Demons, but not on the 2x12 LP vinyl release of My Demons. :) One of the first Dubstep vinyls I ever bought!

One track that's guaranteed to get me stoked every time. Love the trancey stabs. Aggressive as hell, progresses perfectly. One of many top productions from Distance, who made some of the defining tunes of that era.
@insolence5 жыл бұрын
I've been listening to that perfection for almost 9 years now. The concentrated aggression of a machine that does not stop until even the quantums are destroyed. I'm in heaven.

I used to listen to this song back when I was just out of high school. I remember getting high in my shed in the backyard, putting on my over the ear headphones and repeating this song over and over again. Often skipping to the middle of the song, pushing the headphones closer to my ears. Imagining cool things in my mind to go along with the music. Like a car drifting around a corner real nice or something. Fuckin weird shit looking back. Maximum nerd. I still love the music but like goddam.

Not the corest of roots, drum programming is very fast and sparse, more leaned towards rock itself. This is very skeletal hardcore bass music. Just not my tempo for dubstep, I’m sure the old heads could see why I’d take the angle.

I think that all these screaming mid range kids that have pretty much taken over dubstep now started out listening to records like this and really not understanding that it isn't just random synth scream sounds but a carefully thought out progression and melodies combined with a sick filtered midbass
@Cleesp11 жыл бұрын
more of distance, scream, DJG, SPL [who also does drum and bass], Mala, Coki, Icicle, Hatcha, Swindle, Silkie, Quest, Commodo, SP:MC, LX One, Lost, Tunnidge, Babylon System, etc. Start from there, and keep searching deep. You'll find some good shit.
