I went with my 2 friends to auli on 15th Jan by our own car and it costed us Rs5,500 per person approx. Day 1: Dehradun to Joshimath. Left dehradun at 6am and reached joshimath at 7pm at night because of landslides and we took lots of stops to chill. Day 2: Joshimath to Auli by car, then 500rs per person chair ropeway. We went till pillar number 6 but didn't find any need to go beyong because there was lots of snow everywhere. Back to Joshimath in afternoon. We had lots of spare time, so went to Badrinath (just a bit more than hanuman chatti) and came back to our hotel in joshimath at night. Day3: Joshimath to Dehradun. We took our own box of bisleri, cold drinks, chips, biscuits, cup noodles, electric kettle etc. because in mountains they overcharge you + expired stuff (I found expired bisleri and coke at 5+ shops). Stayed at hotel in the video @1:54. It costed us Rs3,000 per day for 3 people for 2 days. Amazing hotel with running geyser, big bathroom, proper bedroom with couch + DishTV enabled TV, and an amazing amazing balcony with majestic views. (Complimentary breakfast was extra cost) We saw lots of snow in Auli because we went when the weather forecast predicted it to rain & snow before 15th, so we can find snow there. All in all, it's a worthy trip if you know when to go there. Also, as always loved your video, thank you so much 💜

Bro. You have choosen the wrong time to go auli. Seriously speaking the best timing is December to 1st week of Jan. We went on 2nd January you can't imagine it really felt like a switzerland snow was everywhere even snow was raining too much . So that's why I suggest you to come in December only 👍 you will feel like heaven

Great video ! But guys there is some information I would like to share , you can enjoy traveling to NITI border which is very near to AULI and has snow throughout the winters . Plus Auli boasts of India's second highest and third highest mountain peaks , Mt. Nanda Devi and Mt. Kamet respectively . You can even enjoy hot showers in the natural hot spring pond near Shiva Temple , Tapovan . Added to these the local cuisines , fast foods are a delight too . Plus some of the accomodations in Joshimath and Auli are far better than what you would find in KARANPRAYAG , RUDRAPRAYAG or EVEN CHOPTA .
