Thanks! You can not go wrong with State of Grace, almost being identical with Distant Drums.

Would you recommend this rose for health and repeat bloomer? It's foilage appearance is similar summer romance rose. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful video of this lovely rose.

I would recommend this rose for two aspects you mentioned above. Actually Distant Drums is very well for repeat. Health is not the top notch, but still is good enough, I just have one problem one this one is it’s canes die back a lot in the winter if we have harsh one, after it will grow back, not quickly but will eventually catching up with the another roses in my garden

Gorgeous! Is is in full sun? Does it keep the flowers in hot summers?
@smallbackyardfun Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It is in full sun, non-stop flowering in the summer, but my summer is pretty cool (PNW climate), the flowers will be in 3-4 days before dropping the petals, will be scattered quicker in hot days!

So beautiful. I am so jealous that your garden still have so many flowers. If I remember correctly you lives in Canada? How can your rose still blooming without fertilizer? Thank you for sharing.
@smallbackyardfun2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And don’t be jealous :) since we already wrapped up our season here, if you go over my description, you will see this is kind of the compilation of Distant drums performance throughout the season 2022. Hope that is clear for your question!

Are you in Canada? Do you bring it in for the winter?
@smallbackyardfun Жыл бұрын
We are living in Lower Mainland - BC, Canada with a mild winter, so never brought any potted roses in house or garage in the winter, and I just lost 2 roses in past 5 years ( of about hundred roses)

@@smallbackyardfunI live in NY and hoping I can get away with leaving my pots out for the winter
