The video is really helpful for me. I have a mid-range PC with 16 GB RAM, RTX 3050 labtop and a 12th gen processor. I think that should do it. And what shader did you put in 0:24 ? he is so beautiful.

Sadly makeup ultra fast is nowhere near the most optimized shader. Best one I could find was the miniature shader. I just don't know if it has DH support

I have Ryzen 5 2400g 16gb ram and get around 400fps but drops to 20 fps every few seconds, any fixes? I've set allocated ram to 4gb (I use fabric and sodium)

@@Mostgibberish the error is the pre generated chunks are different from what I get, so my render distance is 12 it shows a savanna biome but DH shows me a birch forest surrounded by mountains

without shaders i can barely get 60 fps it fluctuates from around 20-60 for normal Minecraft and 80-90 max while looking at the sky with shaders and the fast one its never getting past 40 while looking at the sky unplayable normally any tips?

The results were less than stellar, worse performance and generation speed than I would have gotten in vanilla, the render distance is fixed to a low point just around me too

in i3 i got around 30 fps but you will need to download pre generated world

What's your CPU? Distant Horizons only need 2 GB if you're using it for the lowest possible render distance
