For some my chunky mod has a heart attack when using fabric (I installed the fabric version of it) and always comes up with the error message: Mod 'Chunky' (chunky) 1.4.16 requires any version of fabric, which is missing! Although I am launching chunky on the FABRIC version. Edit: I forgor to download fabric api 💀

Thanks! How much ram are we talking? Yea the process of pre-generating chunks will take ram and cpu until its finished but after that it depends on how much render distance you got or how many chunks you're loading, I suggest to use more ram.

dont put your CPU load to aggressive, if your fps gets low really quick. its not your GPU. minecraft isnt GPU intensive but its just very dangerous for your CPU. if you experience lags with aggressive then reduce it. you can check your CPU workload in task manager. if you keep getting 100% and your gpu is like 5% then that means your CPU is a bottleneck. or its your RAM aswell. i think LOD is for GPU so if you have a good gpu you can increase LOD

The CPU load is for speed in generate the LOD chunks its better to use it for like 2 minutes, generate all chunks and return to "low impact" or balanced" so all keep loaded and you CPU not explode

when using chunky i still have to walk/fly through the pre-generated chunks in order to see them in distant horizon, i want to be able to see off into the distant without ever having to visit the chunks im looking at by pre-generating the chunks i figured DH would load the visual data into LODs for the chunks since they are pre-generated, any fixes?

If i remember correctly it has to be a såecific number. It cant be 200, it has to be 256, or it cant be 500, it has to be 512, 1024 and so on. I also had same issue but i think using these specific numbers makes it work.

True but i tried it on my i3 pc 10 some fps
