I LOVE this! Much better than the ones with rain in the mix. I have been searching for train sounds that remind me of my childhood home near a train track. I am asleep in no time.

So cool to see other people share a common thing in their childhood that brings them comfort. I also grew up close to train tracks and it became like a comforting lullaby to me when I was sleeping. Nowadays when I hear one it brings me comfort, reminding me of the nights that I was falling asleep as a kid and a train would pass and the vibrations from the tracks would shake our whole 1904 house, the train horn honking in the distant night.

This particular type of ambiance is one that is so hard to find. thank you so much for doing this one!! It is absolutely perfect. :) I will be listening all the time. I love the sounds of the trains in the distance, it gives the ambiance a private yet active feel to it that I like. Like it's just close enough to the train :)

My town is nestled right by a train track. I've always thought the chugging of train tracks sounded similar to rushing wind or water. It's a really relaxing Melody to listen to. You captured a nostalgic moment wonderfully. 😄

I love it! It really is a nostalgic noise, I remember just before falling asleep I on occasion would hear a train going by way in the distance, far enough to the point where it was calming. That is when I was living in Minnesota.

It good watching the view of lake and grass blow of the wind nice. Reading a book & relaxing. Until My stop till the end of the station. It rewind with my Godmother on the train to Arkansas to see my Unlce/Cousin John and Unlce. It bring me back memories of life time ago was teenage lot of good memories. Thanks for this! I used to hear the sounds of the train passing by our home everyday at 5 PM. But in 2011, the only railroad in my city shut down because it was in poor condition. I play this video to remember the trains passing by my home. (E&N 1888 - 2011)
