On the Deep Creek Webcam, we hear a distant train horn sounding in the long-long-short-long pattern that is used when approaching a grade crossing. At the end of the video, fog is seen passing in front of the infrared spotlight.

Would’ve been spookier if it was a whistle

Makes sense - the train was on CSX trackage (formerly Baltimore & Ohio).

The web cam used for the DCL Webcam live stream is the P5635E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera manufactured by Axis Communications. At night, the infrared capabilities of the camera are supplemented with five units of the 850nm 12-LED Wide-Angle IR Illuminator manufactured by Univivi. Audio is picked up with the Axis Communications T8351 Indoor/Semi-Outdoor Omni-directional Microphone.
