I have been enjoying the Space SPY-ders. My prefered race is Gizurean. I even got a 16% Stealth Assassination off on the Rat people, right before i declared war. It was glorious

It's tricky but it also plays itself quite well. You can let things run themselves and dip in to bits you want gradually learning how to play it and taking over. I still leave some things to the AI.

Nice to see the seies! Its always cool to see the different playstyles of people. I personally would always prioritize building luxury resource mines, due to the fact, that they = more money. Also it is beyond my understanding, why anyone would play with dense nebulars. But hey i can learn something new by watching :)

Stellaris is good, but I love the variety in the stellar objects (suns, planets, moon, asteroids, etc) in this game. My 3 yo daughter pesters me to zoom around the galaxy looking at everything. My partner can’t say my games don’t teach her anything 😂

If you're playing as another race, then that text is appropriate but a Dhayut rediscovering their ancestors tech? Nah. Anyways, I have no idea what's going on but those ships looks cool and thats reason enough.

The fuel start you got is absurd. Not jumping on all 4 of those will cause you regret I reckon. Every day that passed in which you failed to build that first research station hurt me physically and emotionally. You may want to look at the stores your original world holds in terms of basic materials. Those useful for building mining bases and research stations should be available to you in quantity that would encourage you to not delay in building such, at least for the first decade or so. 12:43

So, they haven't corrected the stop motion of all the ships in flight yet? First version the ships moved normally with out the stop and go motion, they even had a engine thrust out the back showing what level of engine power each ship had.. This version seems to just have tiny assets, being dragged across fly paper.

The main difference is stellaris gives you an event every 30 seconds :p

I have waited so long for a game like this. Sins was cool back in the day, and Stellaris is neat. But honestly this is where its at.

Stellaris does its story better, and some of the mechanics are better thought out... but I think this is a better strategy game.

@@MonstersAbound Agreed. I bought Stellaris to scratch the space rts itch. I thought it would be like Sins of a Solar Empire. But its was more like Civ in space. Super looking forward to DW2 getting some decent mod tools.

It definitely feels better. I've not run into any major bugs (a few minor issues here or there) the automation can still do silly things and you still have aliens trying to live on planets they hate but overall its much better
