Thank You for making your wonderful videos. I started watching your videos my Jr year of high School. And your videos encouraged me to work for the railroad. Which I did, I started as an NS Conductor in 2015, was promoted at Engineer in 2019 and now in 2022. I'm continuing my railroad career as a Amtrak engineer. If it wasn't for your videos, I don't know if I would be in the position I am today. Thank You!

Hey Danny. Really enjoyed the video. Great job! I am in Bostic, NC near the old Clinchfield line. Been a railfan since before I could talk. Even remember sitting on my Daddy's lap behind the steering wheel (before safety was a thing), at the Bostic Clinchfield yard watching the trains come through. Many times the friendly train staff would invite us on board to let me look out the cab window. Miss those days. I used to do the same for my nieces and nephew. But 9/11 changed everything. Thanks again and God speed!.

Really enjoying your videos, sir. As a kid, I always made my grandparents take me to the train tracks in Titusville, FL when I was visiting them... Fast forward 25+ years, and now I find myself logging the train times in my little town of Winder, GA. I can hear them from the house. I also have a set of tracks parallel to my hunting properties outer most trail and hwy 278 in Crawfordville GA... the guys all tease me when at anytime of the day or night, when I hear the train coming, I load up on my 4 wheeler and boogie towards the tracks to catch him (as long as I'm not in a stand of course). I've never "rail fanned" the way you do, but I feel like buying a radio and a camera to keep in my camper. LOL! Thanks for the entertainment, Danny!

Danny those double yellow signals on CSX are approach diverging signals out west on our railroad, it's the last signal you'll see before you approach a siding or crossovers!
@SD40Fan_Jason3 жыл бұрын
yeah CSX does things differently than the railroads out west. You also use Block signalling while CSX uses speed signaling. If you saw the one signal there showing yellow over green, that means the same as your approach diverging for us, but the key difference is it also has a speed restriction. Approach Medium - Approach the next signal not exceeding medium speed. (30 MPH)
