Distracted driving contributes to ten percent of all fatal car crashes, leading to around four thousand deaths and 400,000 injuries every year. The latest research from AAA found mental distractions can linger as long as 27 seconds after putting down a phone, so they brought in three drivers to demonstrate just how distracted people are when they text and drive.

Cops should watch so they can learn to not be distracted they're the worst. Cell phone, radio, laptop, siren, lights, etc

Or a nice alternative to a psa would be if it showed a car at a drive-thru in the background at night and the next scene fades to a side view of a person eating her burger in slow-motion in a few shots, then she starts to sigh from heartburn. (or an alternative would be if she woke up in bed with heartburn), then it fades to the brand and it dissolves, and she sighs happily. What do you think?

What would you think if they made an eating while driving psa where it shows a car at a drive thru at night in the background for a few seconds and the next scene fades to a person getting out a burger and eating it while driving in shots and later as she is driving, you hear a truck horn or something and she crashes and it zips to black with the ad council tag?

besides putting the phone in the center compartment, it needs to be on silent mode or do not disturb mode or it will still beg for your attention
