On a realistic note, if you are going to dig through dumpsters for stuff, don't leave trash all over the place. You want or need to get stuff from a dumpster, I won't judge. Have the decency to clean up after yourself and not make it someone else's problem.

As a waitress who has worked at 2 “free bread” restaurants, the bread is not free. It’s included with the price of the meal, just like soup or salad at most places. If someone comes in and eats only bread, or orders it w a meal that doesn’t include it ( like pizza at my place), we still charge them for the bread. There is a distinction between “free” and “included in price”. So Bob is wrong in saying it is only a breach of social construct bc if you do not pay for the bread/buy a meal, you are stealing.

Is it disclaimed anywhere that that's the case, like in the menu or something? Or is it just something intended to be understood socially? If it's not listed I feel like restaurants should do so just to cover their butt

I work as a teen librarian and we have several multipurpose rooms all outfitted with projectors. Every once in a while I'll set up our switch in one of the rooms with beanbag chairs and snacks and we'll do Smash and Mario Kart with the teens who come after school (normally it's on a TV in the department so the big screen is special). They love it

To expand on vacation on pc, Do it in VRchat preferably with VR. Reallt gets you there. And a lot of spots are in there that are real.

This past year I've had to direct people in a sort of interactive game setup at anime conventions and if you think people don't know how to hold swords correctly, just wait until you tell them to mime using a bow and arrows.
