So pretty! One of the things Tim Holtz does to get texture when he smooshes the inks and sprays them with water is to run his fingers through the inks in a zig-zag fashion then his smooshes his cardstock into the ink and he gets great texture.

I LOVE this card!! It’s so beautiful. The best way to get texture when ink smooshing, it’s best to use a craft mat (like the Tim Holtz blending mat). When you smoosh on a glass surface, the ink will just pool together. When you ink smoosh on the craft mat, the ink beads up, which allows you to get the texture.

I think when you use a non-stick mat, you can get blobs and texture a lot easier. The inks don't really bead up on glass. Regardless, your card came out beautifully! I love the flower and the gold "bloom" on the cake. And the colors are awesome too!
