Another fab video :-) Most probably know the guru Mr Holtz is such a huge influence in our line of crafting and its actually so reassuring that u can turn round and tell it like it is if colours don't matchtheir lids as far as oxides are concerned........ But far from putting people off, u actually open up a load of new possibilities by showing the true colour and how it can be used :-) thank u :-)

Another good one. I've only got old paper in the distress ink, and that seems more of a greeny hue. I must get the oxide now as more creamy and like aged paper. Thank you lou for this great series x

Interesting! I have a very old Distress Ink pad of Old Paper, and it definitely is greenish rather than brownish. Thank you for this great series! It's very helpful!

Interesting, my Old Paper Oxide definitely looks green. I'm using the liqid re-ink bottle though. My Distress Ink Old Paper is also greenish brown.🤔 BTW Love your series!

Pinterest is great for finding inspiration. For example, search ‘Burgundy colour combos’ and there’s lots of results. I pick the colours closest to these in the distress range x

I am having trouble with my cardstock when blending. What cardstock would you recommend? I end up with clouds instead of a smooth finish.

Hi Sheila. The only tips I can give you are ... use a smooth Chardstock. Load your brush or dauber with plenty of ink. Start off on your blending mat then onto your Chardstock using circular type motion (so you're coveringg all the area needed).. and lots of practice. Hope these help hunny x
