Resist techniques are probably my favorite, and my all-time favorite background I've made was using gesso for it. It's not as chunky and dries quickly. And in my art journal when I prep multiple pages in advance, it's easy to stencil a few textures and decide what else to do with them later. No extra prep product or time required. Love it Gerry, thank you for sharing a piece of yourself in your artworks.
