I like how you used the two squares together. I need to remember that. Look forward to the new garage.

I love watching videos on scale garage builds it gives me so many ideas 👍 ps wire wool or a small wire brush are both good for detailing wood to make it look worn and we'll used.

You can buy lens gels that are round in different clear tones to recreate a warmer light. My personal go to is Christmas tree bulbs. Goodwill by the strand. Chop them up and rewire them.

Yeah Balsa doesn't take stain very well but you can Ebonize it which will blacken it while leaving the grain visible. If your interested in Ebonizing, making some Ebonizing solutions is really easy and can be done with stuff you have at home. First you need Rust Vinegar which is super simple to make, all you need is regular _White Vinegar_ and some _four-ought/super fine Steel Wool._ Second you need a Tannic Acid solution which can be made with _Tea Bags and Water._ For Rust Vinegar add 2 cups of White Vinegar and 1 Steel Wool pad to an old jar, put the lid on and let it sit for a week until the Vinegar has dissolved the Steel Wool. Then strain the Vinegar to remove any undissolved solids and it ready to use. For the Tannic Acid solution add 3 Cups of Hot Water to a jar with a lid and toss in 10 Tea Bags, let the Tea Bags steep in the water for about a week. Then remove the Tea Bags and it's ready. When you're ready to use it first apply the Tannic Acid Tea solution to the wood and let it sit and absorb for about 5 mins, now take the Rust Vinegar solution and apply it, almost immediately the wood will turn black, if you want it darker just repeat the previous steps until its the desired color. Note some woods like Oak, Cedar & Walnut are high in Tannins and will Ebonize with just the Rust Vinegar. 👍👍

@RCeveryday Жыл бұрын

Grey primer is what I used also. I started a diorama of my Grandpa's old garage and I've never done one before so that's another reason y I watch ur channel. First reason is for rcs lol. Still trying to figure out patina tho. But I found that tamiya panel line accent color is amazing
