I'd like to know more about Distrokid? Firstly about how does an Artist get Playlists on all the Streaming Platforms for their songs to get more reach nd a better push to generate revenue out of it. Kyunki jab tak plays nahi badhenge tab tak how will we get our return on investment? Secondly how and when does the Distributor give u the payment and from where is the payment to be withdrawn?? Thirdly how do we get to know the analytics of our Songs for all the Streaming Platforms. I'm an independent artist myself and I need some input regarding this🙏

Distrokid has community which can help you circulate your song , for playlists you need to push more on platform itself , its algorithm driven and more the people will listen to your song more it will get added to playlists , Payment can be directly remmitted to your bank account or paypal account , normally it takes 3-4 days to get transfer for me.They give you reports to study the stream counts with breakup of each platform. Go for it.

Guys please avoid DistroKid at all cost! They are most likely Non Compliant on RBI Recurring Transaction e- mandate! What it means is that, you'll have no problem paying 1 time fees of $19.99 but any other recurring payments will be denied in India and basically you won't be able to continue using the service! worst part is that their support is absolutely mum on this issue! they will not help!
