The song has been out 13 years and I was today years old when I realized what the puppet part really means. A representation between the abuser who doesn't want to lose their play toy and the victim who is their puppet and wants out. I have always loved and listened to disturbed for as long as I can remember, their the only band who has imbedded all song lyrics into my brain.
