I have a veeery strange thing going with this song. Well, apart it being my favorite song by Disturbed. At some point in my life I decided that reading books AND listening to music at the same time was a great idea. And at that time I was digging into Bas-Lag series by China Mieville (great books by the way), and at some point again, I was reading the Perdido Street Station and had The NIght in my headphones. Something clicked. For me it was just a prefect soundtrack for the book and feeling from it. So, with The Night on repeat I finished the book. From that point forward, every time I hear The Night I instantly fall back to the story of Perdido Street Station, and if I try to read Perdido Street Station alone, I instantly have The NIght playing in my head. Quite an imprint I created... But I have no regrets whatsoever =)

Está canción estoy seguro que habla sobre la superación personal sin involucrar temas de religión ni dios ni diablo personalmente creo que habla sobre salir de ciertos vicios como pueden ser drogas o algo que te distancie de crecer como persona, sea emocional o económicamente y al decir entrégate a la noche supongo que es por qué es cuando la mente más medita y pensamos en las metas que no hemos realizado. El inicio de la canción se pregunta básicamente que lo hizo ceder ante esos vícios, al decir que dejó caer la armadura es porque se dejó llevar por ese estilo de vida, "ahora en un camino lejos de todo, no hay mejor forma de conocer un mundo descontrolado, vas a negar al salvador frente a tus ojos?"
