I'm going to start by saying they are releasing their own comic book. But Their cover of Land of Confusion mentions superman and in the video a scrap of paper with an S on it flies by and lands on The Guy's chest(The guy is disturbed's "mascot") insinuating The Guy is similar to superman in the video. That is the most straightforward one off the top of my head. They usually twist it in some kind of way or that sort of thing to make it their own and turn it into art. But if you're looking for a definitive answer there isn't one. I'll attach a quote said by american comic book artist but other than that listen to the music. Their music is filled with themes found in comic books or any other popular culture for that matter.
