Because if you were referring to the latter, one could ONLY expect that it was YOU that originally threw the weight. THAT'S what I am talking about.... since you needed it specifically spelled out. David Draiman is a very interesting individual!! On top of being an amazing artist. My kiddo and I are perplexed and enamored with his voice. My kiddo has Autism so going to a concert is not recommended due to the loud sounds but we are trying to figure out a way that would work for him because he loves Mr. Draiman voice. His favorite song as well as mine is Sound of Silence. I am a huge fan of the Simon and Garfunkel version and normally not a fan of covers however Mr. Draiman infused new life to one of the all time best songs ever.
@Umbra_Magna7773 жыл бұрын
I know my comment is way late, but have you thought about noise canceling headphones? I’m autistic too and I use them to help me at work and when I’m in loud places. They might help your kid, too, if you’re interested. And if you plan on taking them to a concert, I’d recommend staying near the edge of the crowd so if they get too overwhelmed they can get out for a sec and take a break. I hope this helps. :)

@@Umbra_Magna777 Great idea. I have ADHD and a strong sensitivity to sound as well. There is a product from a company I think is called Loop. It's an earbud that cuts out the higher frequency noises, which I find the most overwhelming. Is there a certain register that is harder to handle? If so, there may be a product that would assist. I hope @gabbriella Rupert gets to experience David's voice live someday. It would be an amazing experience to share with you Kiddo im sure.

My son lives with Autism and went to his first big metal show (Black Label Society) a couple of months ago. He wore headphones and we gradually introduced him to the loudness of shows by seeing local bands perform. I hope your kiddo is able to enjoy a show soon. 💜

I have adhd and autism, and I know that both adhd and autism is a spectrum, for loud music always has been my free comfy zone/space. And going to concerts has been very fun and very mening full for me to go to on another level mening full for me to do. So if you're son really have a favorite band ask him if he can consider to go and watch them or maybe stand somewhere outside the concert area and just listen. It might be great for him

"The Sound of Silence" as sung by Disturbed is so beautiful. The best rendition by Disturbed is featured on Conan. And at my age (old as dirt), listening to some of this band's songs drives me crazy. However, "The Light" and "The Sound of Silence" give me goosebumps!

What they were for me back in the 70's and 80's, this guy and Disturbed are for me in the last couple decades. Thank you, Graham, and Loudwire, for this video. Keep up the great work!
