I met David when I was 16 in 2005 and he grabbed me by the collar and dragged me to the front of the line to sign autographs with the band, gave me a signed album. I got to shake their hands, and Draiman gave me a great big hug and stared me straight in the eye and said "I appreciate you as a fan, be good to people, be good to yourself"

*HA!!!!!!* His honesty. Good one! If his nose grew an inch for every time he's lied about his use of Auto-Tune, that massive pointy schnoz would extend from Earth all the way to the farthest galaxy. It would be so far away, even William Shatner and his raggedy toupee and Scotty's most powerful engines would be unable to travel the distance necessary to explore it.

Sorry to burst your bubble with some friends who our audio engineers and technical advisors every live mic can be tuned and added effect there's plenty video out their about it but with that being said it takes someone with an amazing voice to only need slight touches and effects added to provide a show he is amazing frontman and singer but he does have his mic tuned like everyone but it's part of the performance so it's not a knock against them just know when you see Broadway now that's true performances and talent singing

Back in January 15th of 2016 my son died from PTSD induced suicide. One of an overall estimated average of 22 veterans per day who take their own lives. One of the last things my son Keith and I did together was watch your music video cover on "Sound of Silence" when it first came onto KZbin. That was about a week before he died. Needless to say that song as you folks did it continues to be something very special to my wife Carole and me.

@Campbell Koschei it's not so brainless based upon YOUR previous comment.... the thing that YOU failed to identify based upon your choice of wording is this..... are you referring to the guy that threw the 25lb weight as being the "full of shit this garbage human piece of garbage", or are you referring to David Draimand for being the piece of garbage? Because if you were referring to the latter, one could ONLY expect that it was YOU that originally threw the weight. THAT'S what I am talking about.... since you needed it specifically spelled out. Also, before you call someone else a "brainless piece of shit", you MIGHT try using your eloquent vocabulary to actually form a complete, coherent sentence. Or does YOUR IQ only allow you to speak using foul language?

I am thoroughly impressed with this man. His voice is outstanding but after watching him speak about his life I am actually beyond impressed. He seems so humble and open. David Draiman is a very interesting individual!! On top of being an amazing artist. My kiddo and I are perplexed and enamored with his voice. My kiddo has Autism so going to a concert is not recommended due to the loud sounds but we are trying to figure out a way that would work for him because he loves Mr. Draiman voice. His favorite song as well as mine is Sound of Silence. I am a huge fan of the Simon and Garfunkel version and normally not a fan of covers however Mr. Draiman infused new life to one of the all time best songs ever.

I know my comment is way late, but have you thought about noise canceling headphones? I’m autistic too and I use them to help me at work and when I’m in loud places. They might help your kid, too, if you’re interested. And if you plan on taking them to a concert, I’d recommend staying near the edge of the crowd so if they get too overwhelmed they can get out for a sec and take a break. I hope this helps. :)

@@Umbra_Magna777 Great idea. I have ADHD and a strong sensitivity to sound as well. There is a product from a company I think is called Loop. It's an earbud that cuts out the higher frequency noises, which I find the most overwhelming. Is there a certain register that is harder to handle? If so, there may be a product that would assist. I hope @gabbriella Rupert gets to experience David's voice live someday. It would be an amazing experience to share with you Kiddo im sure.

I have adhd and autism, and I know that both adhd and autism is a spectrum, for loud music always has been my free comfy zone/space. And going to concerts has been very fun and very mening full for me to go to on another level mening full for me to do. So if you're son really have a favorite band ask him if he can consider to go and watch them or maybe stand somewhere outside the concert area and just listen. It might be great for him
