I'm 71 yrs old and was around for the original version by Simon and Garfunkel. That said, this version BLEW MY MIND. It makes me cry and dance at the same time. Now, that's IMPACT for an old dog like me. I will always love the original BUT this is version has become my favorite. :o)

@@undertoe3619 Yes, you win the same way I win most of the time... being the oldest commenting. lol They use this version with tactical K9 videos which is where I first heard it. I was totally hooked. After the 80's I stopped listening to pop music but my favorite era will always be the 60's. Paul Simon, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, rule this era in profound lyrics and music. Yes, we may be OLD but we lived in the greatest time for music. I also love Doo Wop, R&B and early R&R from the late 50's. You could torture me with rap and I wish I was exaggerating. lol :o)

Old Time R&R by Bob Seger, Smoke on the Water, Do You Love Me by the Contours and I KNOW this would fall into that category. We lived in a greatest era for music in my humble opinion. I don't care that I'm old, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. lol :o)

This goes down the drain harder than any drop this music has. The fact it's sped up shows how little to no respect the author has for the Disturbed version of the song. Disturbed made the perfect pace for the song, the real emotion singing it, and this remix ruins both. I don't believe who likes this version really appreciated what Disturbed did.
