Paul Simon actually wrote to Disturb telling them that he really loved it alot. Mr Simon also stated this was the best remake of one of his songs and it simply just shows.

The technicality in this performance never ceases to amaze me. I’m a big Disturbed fan, and the power he shows in those songs is beyond. The control he has to strip that all the way down and still maintain that resonance and clarity is insane. It’s as though he retrained his voice to hit this different level than he does in the band setting. Unbelievable. Thanks for another awesome vid, gentlemen! (Also, I’d love y’all to react to Michael Ketterer’s AGT finale song. I had chills.)

I've been a fan of disturbed..man long time 99 or so , had the pleasure of being able to see them live in a little bar in Louisiana just before their mainstream success and again years later in Dallas after they came up ....outstanding performance both times , they over delivered and gave everything for their audience rather it was 200 people or 20,000 ...didn't matter , that's rare now and days

I've always been a huge Simon & Garfunkel fan, and loved this song in its original version, but this version absolutely blows my mind! His vocals range from pure, crystal clear tones to the gravelly emotion as he gets into it, and really expresses the darkness of the lyrics far better than Art Garfunkel's beautiful, soaring vocals. Incredible!

David is in a class all his own. I am 62 so been around for a while. He sings this song with more power and feeling than Simon and Garfunkel did in 1963. Paul Simon was 21 when he wrote this song. I am very proud that a whole new generation is enjoying this song. But hes got a 12 in my book

Was lucky enough to see disturbed at ozzfest 2001, they were slated for 2nd stage for the second year In a row, and they did play 2nd stage, but then someone didn't show, so they played AGAIN an hour later to open for 1st stage. Very good live performance. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Disturbed does every cover they do justice. Check out about, or living after midnight, very good covers as well.

I know I share this..constantly. Originally by Simon & Garfunkel in 1964 it was a warning.. how technology was separating people..as a Dream by Paul...and as the future from there has shown true..Disturbed did a cover which brings so much emotion..anger to this warning..as we have gone beyond this warning. I love this song cover and have loved Disturbed since they came out back in '94..David is Classically trained and goes above his normal heavy metal to show the emotion. With the world we live in now..with Covid..this is ever more prevalent..as I have said every single time I have shared this..if this does not make you feel..does not give you goosebumps you are not human. Much love *edit* there is a live version of this song from Conan...with that there are two sections where 'autotune' is used during the live performance. DAVID WAS AGAINST THIS..but he was also very sick, had a fever and was not sure he could do the show. He is seated the whole time of the live version. This is testament to his abilities as he sounds absolutely amazing and the autotune is only used in two very small sections. This man's voice is of the God's
