Same with any paranormal stuff. See if he stays in that haunted manor with the blokes though. "There'd be no point, would there?" Riiiiiight lol. It's not lack of fear or bravery. It's dismissal and avoidance. That goes for anyone who dismisses these things so easily, BUT also refuses to invoke such phenomena when given the chance. They all do it to some degree. As do most "skeptical" people I know. It's not because they're "too intelligent" to be fooled, it's fear.
@MM-jc7uv3 жыл бұрын

Or because we really just don’t know if aliens are real and they’ve never contacted us
@amphibeingmcshpongletron50263 жыл бұрын
@@MM-jc7uv Here's the thing, instead of taking the opportunity to prove it's bullshit, most people who are skeptical would rather hem and haw muttering about "nonsense" than take ANY time to prove they truly stand by their point of view. I've seen UFOs, so yeah, I'm probably "one of those people" by your account. I'm not an idiot though. I recognize that there are definitely crazy people who hallucinate UFOs and aliens. However, I've seen them with multiple credible sober witnesses, including my best friend, a commercial pilot. He was terrified and said outright that there was NO WAY those were any known aircraft. Grainy cell phone video wouldn't convince me either. I used to think it was people on drugs or something who saw them. I'm guilty of this thinking as well. But, I've seen them. So, now what? To experience something that profound and then have people laugh and act like they're suddenly more intelligent than me and my pilot friend just because they didn't see what we did (we make no claims as to what they were, but they were REAL) gets to be a little old. It also makes me concerned for people's ability to contemplate things they know nothing about. Basically, it's ALL talk until you personally experience anything out of the ordinary for yourself. Talk doesn't impress me. I don't fault people for being skeptical. I DO fault people who are outspoken in their skepticism, yet lack the spine to prove it by doing even a minor stunt to prove that THEY don't believe it. They can say it's stupid all they want, but I know fear and hesitation when I see it in a person's face and voice. Reminds me of the people who won't say "Bloody Mary" in the mirror three times at night in the dark NO MATTER WHAT because there's "no point" or "its stupid". It doesn't impress me or convince me of their conviction that it's just bullshit (I've tried the bloody mary thing, btw, and it's total bullshit lol). That's all. Doubt away, the world needs skeptics.

UFOs are seen practically everywhere. People can make all the jokes they want. When you see them, you won't be laughing. I used to think people who saw them were on drugs until I saw them with my friend who happens to be a commercial pilot. Who knows what they are? Whatever they are, they ARE NOT normal aircraft or anything readily explainable. I think many people these days realize this, yet they're still too fearful and narrow minded to even contemplate the consequences of the reality of these things whether they're man-made, natural phenomena, or other. ANY of those options are absolutely incredible. You have to see for yourself to accept it.

Sightings always happen in rural or desolate places, not in places like Los Angeles, with few witnesses… Yeah. No. There’s the Phoenix Lights. There’s a couple really great current documentaries on the mass sighting, with thousands of witnesses including local government officials from Phoenix and media.
@willvr43 жыл бұрын
Not to mention cities create a ton of light pollution. Probably 98% of sightings can be explained or are natural phenomena, but that still leaves thousands of unexplainable sightings. I've seen one myself and I was with 4 friends. Only other explanation I could have for it was what they call "ball lightening".
@Valaraukar81873 жыл бұрын
@@willvr4 a few years back, 2013 to be exact, I was staying with my little sister in rancho cucamonga California, inland from Los Angeles, on the edge of San Bernardino County and at the bottom of the Cajon Pass, the throughway Interstate 15 Freeway northeast to Las Vegas. It cuts through the San Gabriel mountains in a pretty wide gash in the range. Her 3rd floor apartment was on the 3 rd floor facing south and because it’s on a significant slope of the mountainside the view is better than 180 degrees, looking east past San Bernardino and west towards Los Angeles. You can clearly see the skyline of the skyscrapers of downtown LA. It was a crystal clear night, about 8:35 pm, and I was out on the balcony smoking a cigarette. My nephew and sister had both just gone to their rooms for whatever reasons and I was staring out over the valley, looking south and mostly west towards Orange County. All of a sudden, just over my left shoulder and hitting my peripheral vision something very large appeared, moving basically in the same direction I was initially looking. It was boomerang shaped, very large, had 5 blueish lights on the underside spaced evenly on the surfaces with the center dead in the middle of the arrow shape. The lights were large because whatever it was, itself was very large. It made no sound, and banked a little bit as it headed first to the west and banked again to the south heading along the north-south range straddling the eastern edge of Orange County. It continued south and disappeared out of sight and went behind the mountains as they grew taller as they ran south. This whole thing easily took probably 5 minutes, at least. I was so stunned by what I was seeing that I didn’t shout out to either of them, but also part of me thought that “damn, there’s no possible way I was the only person who would have seen the craft”. It was the tale end of Durham hour and flew relatively slowly over millions of people’s homes. The sky was brilliantly clear and it was very very large. I told both of them when they came back out to the living room and they didn’t say much because they didn’t see it and hell, that’s just crazy talk. I’m not saying that they didn’t believe me but, you know… anyhow, I wasn’t concerned because it was so damned obvious at the very least hundreds, likely thousands had to see it just from their cars driving East or west on 3 of the busiest freeways in the United States. I started checking the internet immediately. Nothing. The local news affiliates. Nope. I never saw any account of it. There’s no possible way it was a flying wing or something because it made no sound, was as large as 5 football fields across, and was also way too big to be some kind of lighter than air ship. I know I saw something remarkable and I’m not saying alien craft, or anything because I just don’t know, but as far as I know the human race has nothing in the way of technology that would explain what I saw. I’m also certain that had I pursued the situation I likely would have located several people who had seen the anomaly/ship. But I was kinda afraid of being called crazy and at first I was waiting for backup to appear and then throw my two cents into the mix. Inexplicably, I never did anything about it and I can’t explain exactly why other than the only people I’ve ever even spoken about it to are my sister, nephew, and my two oldest friends, with my friends split 50/50 as to whether I was bat shit, or not. I wasn’t. Whatever it was, it was there. It could not have been clearer. Even in the daylight. It stood out exactly as something up in the sky at low altitude, 5 football fields across, with 5 huge blue round down lights would stand out. Crazy, right?

In the US, on aircraft red lights are on the left and green is on the right. I can't speak for other countries but it is a requirement to have that on aircraft so you can tell from a distance which way a plane is traveling at night. The guy that didn't have a "green" light on his plane, would of been breaking a law in the U.S.. I wouldn't be the least bit interested in what he saw. I would be more worried about why he didn't have proper lighting on his aircraft.

The Valentich disappearance is interesting, of course it wasn't a UFO because aliens haven't visited us, but the fact he disappeared is intriguing. Like it could have been a coincidence, he could have seen an experimental craft and crashed because he panicked and assumed it was aliens, he could have been just making it up because he was an enthusiast and thought it would be a good story but then crashed by pure coincidence? He was a novice pilot at the time. If he made it up, would he really be willing to die to make it believable? Who is that dedicated to UFOs that they'd crash their plane to give their story merit? I think he was probably hallucinating, maybe he had an undiagnosed mental condition or was on drugs and he lost his bearings while he was panicking and crashed by mistake. Either than or it was a coincidence. He made up a story because he was hugely into UFOs, thought it would make a good anecdote and freak people out but then crashed due to it being nighttime and him being a novice.
