Thanks MM as always 💃🏽. These stories are so good to be aware of random people knocking in the door or showing up in a hotel is creepy and confusing when they pretend to be staff I'm sure. Hearin these stories i will be extra cautious now im already over the top lol

@@MalevolentMischief Thanks for the advice! We actually block the door from the inside with a chair, and cancel all housekeeping services at check in. At some locations we smear a tacky, colored substance to the "do not disturb" card that you insert on the lock for privacy, to make sure no one gets in while we're out, and if they do, hopefully have their fingerprints. Of course we clean it thoroughly before checkout, lol! 😂

You know, all work and no MM makes Pete a dull boy. Whelp, I'm just gonna go sit at the bar and talk to a ghost bartender and definitely NOT drink any alcohol. Being surrounded by fine whiskey actually strengthens my recovery! (I really hope you've seen The Shining... if not, I'm ok, just quoting Jack... who most definitely is not a dull boy)

Yes !!! Creepy hotel stories are my favorite category of Malevolent Mischief !! Apart from the Craigslist ones. And the Catfishing ones. And Wrong Turn ones. And weird neighbor ones….dude you are driving me crazy !!! Good kinda crazy though.

The hell ??? That second note was some of the finest free verse I’ve ever heard. Maybe I need to listen to that third story again. I admit the contents were vaguely menacing but I really have to come down on the guests side here. I’d be mightily irked if I got thrown out of a hotel for having a slightly unorthodox to-do list.
