All i needed in Disventure Camp all stars was for Jake to get eliminated sooner, I feel like he overstayed WAY to long in all stars. If the writers did want to keep him longer they should have developed him in a way the fans actually cared about him. Episode 18 was one of his worst episodes imo. All he did was argue, cry, get Ashley to be his therapist, argue with Ally and be stubborn. After Grett's elimination i lost all hope in the season :( Edit: i feel similar about Riya too, like if everyone hates her so much just eliminate her. It's like they want her to win 🙄

Nah, Jake stayed what he had stay. The real overstayers were Gabby, Ally, Connor and Aiden. I would have replace them for Ellie, Tess, Ashley and Hunter

I don’t think Disventure Camp All Stars was the disaster that many say it was, most of the eliminations were well justified and the game managed to have very interesting twists and turns, as well as very good character development. But I would say that the whole Jake and Ally conflict seemed to me to be the worst and most unnecessary plot of the season. It literally contributed nothing to either of the 2 characters And I would even say that it harmed them That conflict had no relation to Ally acceptance problem and basically made all of Jake’s development feel unbalanced. Ever since Tom was taken out, Jake was having excellent development, he was focusing on the challenges, he was helping others and I would even say that his duo with Aiden was quite iconic But out of nowhere they bring up the conflict with Ally which has the dumbest foundation that can exist and make Jake feel undeveloped again. I understand that they wanted to show that some problems have relapses and that not every problem is so simple to solve, but making Jake's mistakes have such big consequences in the game doesn't help people empathize with him. Can't he have problems without causing so much damage to those around him?

Very good character development: Fiore did nothing, Riya goes back to her old ways, Yul goes back to his old ways, Grett and Gabby are friends but it’s feels so LATE! They could’ve been friends in S1 E5, Ally betrayed everyone [what a geek] and Connor is a pedophile… i’m glad you enjoyed that terrible season it’s just you’re opinion so peace out then… ✌🏻

@@Topher2008 It was obvious that not all the characters would develop but Grett, Gabby, Alec, Connor, Jake, Tess, Ally and Riya did have a development. Riya has the development of a villain without redemption, she had the opportunities in her hands and she rejected them because she was very clear about the sacrifices of having the life she chose, even if they hurt, she stayed the path. Gabby and Grett had more than a development as friends, they had an individual development each. Same as Alec, Jake and Connor. Connor pedophile? I'm pretty sure a 30 year old woman is not a child.

Honestly, as much as DCAS had its downs, and pretty bad downs at that, I feel TDAS downs were ALWAYS worse. Meanwhile the TDAS ups never were THAT good other than some funny Scottney moments. Meanwhile the DCAS ups were phenomenal. If I were to make this video, It would be a DCAS sweep, I feel they did better at everything.

Disventure camp all stars, was more of what i wanted than the total drama version. Yes they both have flaws, but Disventure camp all stars did it better. Especially now with giving them, some of the background characters, or a few of the main characters some more development overall in the spin off series currently airing and explaining some things.

For me it’s very close but in my first all stars watch, despite the clear drop in quality most episodes were watchable, but DC had disguistingly annoying characters lasting too long and getting away with too much and the writing was even worse than total drama excluding the finale

While there's plenty I agree with in this video, I honestly couldn't give a point to either for the boot order as both had most of their eliminations done purely for plot convenience, and both easily had that one elimination that was the final nail in the coffin because it was someone that we were all rooting to win the season and their elimination was so poorly executed. Lindsay and Courtney (for some reason) in TDAS and Lake and Ally in DCAS

the weird thing is that i dont dislike total drama allstars, the big difference between DCAS and TDAS is that TDAS is significantly less morbid and frustrating to watch (understand DC is supposed to be for teens but its not fun watching every do puppy eyes every other episode) they also didnt finish any plotlines, like at all.

TDAS is better than DCAS. (WOAH!! AN OPINION!!) The derailment of our favs and all? It was all cuz of MAL. here's the thing! MAL WAS EXECUTED WRONG. MAL IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE PERSECUTOR ALTER FOR THE SYSTEM!! (mike, svetlana, vito, chester, manitoba, and mal, they are all alters that share the same body, and this is called a system in DID) heck, even the writers said that they would've handled Mike and Mal better if they were written in 2024. Persecutor alters basically want to protect the system and does it in harmful ways. They were misguided on what safety is and how to achieve it. if mal was: - not evil cuz evil - just wanted to protect the system (mike, svetlana, vito, chester, manitoba) - emo with trust issues - persecutor executed right - not a juvie boy - took control because he probably knows some info of total drama (Mal to Alejandro: The most manipulative player in total drama history 👿), which means that people like Heather, Alejandro, and possibly (???) Courtney (?) are people he thinks are threats (obviously scott is there too cuz yk he eliminated mike??) - possibly only trusts zoey and cameron because yk, the system did??? (specifically mike but still!) then everyone would love a little emo ass herobrine persecutor, am I right? so in conclusion: mal ruined the season purely because he got executed wrong.

Yes, TDAS has a bad plot and their personalities are unrealistic BUT it's the characters we love like Gwen, Heather, Duncan and Alejandro but DCAS? the characters are aren't that likeable and funny, 90% of the story is just annoying drama and in both seasons a self centered twink had all the plot for himself (Mike and Jake) so even the bad plot is close
