Lovely plants! Love that variegated calathea! Nora could you please give an explanation of what the different types of lighting are? For instance bright indirect light. Does that mean a room where the sun is shining in the windows but the plant is not placed directly in the sunlight but off to the side?

I'm moving away from moss poles as well! If you don't have any already get a maranta. My favourite is the leuconeura var. kerchoveana and they grow so well in semi hydro.
