Love love love collaborations. Love these collaborators. Lee always makes me laugh. Your competitive nature speaks to my soul. Too funny that you reluctantly admitted to skimming over the instructions. We’ve all been there. Great video 💚

Where to start! LOL. So the plants that have multiple heads split them up. The plants with the necks plant them down deeper or cut the neck back and scrape the neck to peel off some of the skin so the roots will grow out of it. I then would either water root the stem or plant into soil. As for the sport it all depends what was the original color and what was the sport? If you leaf prop then you may get the original color but probably not. Now if you want to grow it up in size then you have to keep pinching back the flower stalks as soon as they start to grow so that energy goes to growing size and not bloom. Every 3-4 months pull the plant and remove the bottom row of leaves and remove any suckers( plantlets growing from the main neck) and repot back into the same pot. They really love to be tight and almost root bound. Being root bound triggers blooming. Let them go to full bloom approximately every 6 months and you’ll be very happy with the results

Im so glad I found your channel and I am very excited to try leca. My only problem is that just about every single one of my plants is a fern, peperomia, begonia or string of hearts. I dont know how they will react to LECA, please let me know what you think. Also I was wondering what plant was in your lechuza mini deltini it was adorable. Thank you for sharing your knowledge🥰

Leca Queen, you have beautiful plants, I saw your Philodendron Birkin and I was so impressed of the beauty… I have one and it looks nothing like yours, soft flimsy leaves, rust spots as well, help!!! I’m going to cut the stem, only one stem, can I put it in leca after I cut it?

Absolutely love this challenge video!!! I watch you, Clair and Melissa 💜💜💜. You all are so amazing!!! Both plants displayed a huge amount of growth in such a short period of time. I haven't put any of my philodendron or pathos on moss poles, but I think this may be the year. Great job to both of you!!!

Question concerning the transition of decades old, big Hoyas to mineral substrate: What is your opinion on the idea of cleaning the roots as usual, but then filling up only the bottom two thirds or so of the new, bigger pot with mineral substrate and then filling up the remaining top third with classical soil hoya substrate and embed the old soild-habituated toots in a radial, superficial fashion only into that top layer so that the plant can continue to supply itself in the way it grew used to until deeper, more water adapted roots develop and increasingly take over? Might that be a more atraumatic way, a genuine transition?

OMG this was so much fun. But seriously, alot of variables here to consider: Soil vs LECA, easy philos vs alocasias.....really?? But all in all, nice to have the plant community involved in a fun competition. Next time, perhaps, they should be assigned the same plant.

Everything looks so wonderful. I just have one question. When you get ready to upsize the pot, how do you get the roots out of all those holes? Do you just cut them?
