Guy said that the machine cost around $300k. It did fairly well out here, but the big rocks 6" plus ended up stopping the machine to where they had to bring in a rock saw in some areas. It was very impressive. Did tear out a few 3" water lines. Something like this is great if you know exactly where the utilities are and can stay far away from old pvc pipe and pedastools. Better for new installations. Otherwise if you hit something, you are going to need a trackhoe to excavate and fix.

Is there any form of GPS guidance for these machines? Trimble, Topcon or Ag Leader?

Great question. Unlike a dozer or motor grader, GPS guidance is generally not used with vibratory plows (or any machines installing utilities) primarily because of existing underground utilities which needs "Active" machine Operator to steer/avoid these. Perhaps in the future when existing pipe/cable has been located & mapped with survey grade GPS coordinates.

Hi, good piece of kit. How is it on rough or sloped grass verges? We're looking for one to lay 63/50 ducts for blowing fibres. Depth would have to be around 450mm. And how about reinstatement? Sorry to be a pest lol!

Clarify: 63mm external diameter!

Yes....a Quad Track RT80 or RT125 will easily & more productively install (1) 2.5"/ 63mm conduit @ 36-42"/ 75-108mm depth with significantly less restoration that "open cut" with a excavator or backhoe
