I just been gifted a Ditec ion 4. I intend to install it myself (replacing the current motor). So I am new to Ditec motor. Your help is appreciated.

When you memorise the remote (time from 4.50 to 5.30 in the video): - any button on the remote will do? - there are 2 buttons on the remote. Is it true that one is for opening and the other for closing? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Dear @minhthuyandang, any button on the remote will do? - YES, when you are near the ION operator, press both the buttons of an already memorized ZEN2 remote for 10 s, until the Led of ZEN2 comes ON; then press again both the buttons of the same ZEN2 remote for 10 s, until the Led of ZEN2 starts flashing (SR flashing is shown on ION display). Now you have 10 s to memorize a NEW ZEN2 transmitter. there are 2 buttons on the remote. Is it true that one is for opening and the other for closing? - Every button of every remote can be configured as OPENING command or CLOSING command or STEP BY STEP command or PARTIAL OPENING command or STOP command (see RO menu on the instruction manual).

If I want to set up a third remote do I need the first 2 remotes in the vicinity?

Hello @nathanhua5605! Absolutely NOT, you can memorize the remotes at any time and without the need to have the transmitters already memorized with you. Go to the RO>enter>SR>enter> menu and when SR flashes on the display, you can memorize the new remote (In the video you can watch the memorization procedure from minute 04:50 to minute 05:30).

Ion 6 model 30 and 5 inputs do not open and close the door anymore what should I do and which model should I buy a spare remote for this product thanks

Hi @nurettinkabak2913, please check that the accessory (push-button, key-switch ecc.) connected to 30 and 5 is not short-circuited: you can remove the wire from terminal 5 and then re-connect it again to see if the door open and close. You can also try with the simultaneous pressing of UP Arrow and ENTER keys for opening operation and simultaneous pressing of DOWN Arrow and ENTER keys for closing operation. Check for any error message shown on display. For the spare remote you should look for the same model you are actually using (ZEN2 or ZEN4 I guess).

Buenas noches amigo una consulta tengo el modelo nes1000 y arroja error IO

Hola Martin, el error "IO" significa que el cuadro eléctrico detecta que el circuito de alimentación del motor está interrumpido debido a que el MOSFET (el componente electrónico que acciona el motor) no puede cerrar el circuito y por lo tanto alimentar el motor. Puede tratarse de una falsa alarma, que normalmente se soluciona realizando un RESET, es decir, desconectando el conector del motor, la red eléctrica y las baterías (si las hay) y volviendo a conectarlo todo, pero también puede ser que realmente haya fallado el MOSFET (Alarma "IO" persistente tras RESET) por sobretensión y en este caso será necesario sustituir la placa electrónica CS12M (el código de la placa electrónica de repuesto es NC6CS12M - contacta con tu instalador/distribuidor de confianza).
