We always love seeing Matt but you should end it when you want to end it! If you’re drained and don’t wanna film, it’s your life girlfriend!!! We’re still watching either way 😂❤

I’m sorry to hear about your seedlings! It is always sad when you invest your money & things just don’t grow. I have learned that sifting my potting mix before I start seeds really helps the plant babies get a stronger start because they aren’t trying to grow their roots around big chunks of wood/rocks in the soil. Also, if you didn’t already do this, pre-moistening the soil before sowing seeds really helps increase germination rates 🌱

Hey, I just have to say that I love, love your channel. Honestly most days I just play through your older videos because your content is so comforting, for some reason. It feels weird typed out, but I think I just feel really seen and relate a lot to how you appear to live your life and spend time with your kids. I'm a working mom 29 days away from having baby #3, and I completely understand your struggles of trying to work while being home with your kids. My 17 month old just started her first week of full-time daycare this week because trying to rely on other people to come over and watch her while I tried to get all my work done was just becoming too stressful (my mom likes to vacation a lot too lol) and working from 6 - 11pm every night after everyone else is in bed was taking a huge toll on me mentally. (Though I am so so lucky to have the job that I do that has such amazing flexibility and the greatest boss in the world.) I hate dropping her off at daycare every day, and just cried for like 15 min once I got back home this morning, but once this little dude is born in less than a month we are going to all have 3 months 100% together while I'm on maternity leave. Idk why I'm spilling this all here, but just know that you have such a positive impact on at least my life and mental health, probably many others too, and I really appreciate the fact that you're willing to share your life and your thoughts on the internet lol. Hope you are having a great day! I LOVE the gardening content!! I can't wait for the snow to melt here in Northern Wisconsin so I can start my garden too :D

U would have to be my fav youtube vlogger. I came across you with your birth videos of Rowan a few yrs ago. I like watching what u do in a normal day and totally understand that u want to end it when Matt gets home. I am in my 40s with a tween and teen boy and girl and I miss those crazy toddler days, brings back memories. I love seeing when u are out and about and what it's like where u live, op shopping, crafty stuff and home decorating, its the kind of things I do to too. I like to have pretty things around me in my home and do projects and gardening. Raising monarch butterflies is my latest little hobby🦋

As much as I love your vlogs, enjoy your afternoon with your family! Maybe doing a night routine can help so you dont have to constantly film in the afternoon but you get to share that content somewhat!

I was going to suggest this too! Would definitely like seeing the night routine with two toddlers but the "work day" is over when Matt comes home so it feels like a natural place to end the vlog!

For sure end the vlogs early evening…. All parents know like 4-7 is crazy town anyways lol. Love them, do what works best for you all! And my first kid was a covid baby too (she was 4 months old when it started) and it makes my heart so happy to see her progression making friends at preschool and saying hi to everyone (dogs and humans lol) on our walks etc.

Absolutely love these kinds of vlogs 😊 And it’s amazing watching your writing journey. I’ve struggled getting back into reading after having my daughter and I’m working on it. I’ve also always wanted to write a novel! I have been working on an idea for years but have just never been able to start. I’m worried it’ll just be an abandoned project amongst my millions of hobbies I don’t get time for nowadays! So watching you do it is inspiring. Thanks for sharing your daily life!

ohhh your expensive seedlings... 😢 please try again, it is still early in the season. Maybe bring them inside where it's warmer and use seedings ground? I found some cosmos' apricotta ' this year and I'm super excited about growing them! and yes I'm still very envious of your beautiful glasshouse!

I love these boring vlogs! I love seeing your day-to-day, uncurated life. Juniper is getting so big and so good at using those words! My daughter turns 16mos in a few days and it's been really cool to watch Juniper grow since she is just a few months ahead - it's like a little sneak peek of my near-distant future :P P.S. You should google "Calendula pronunciation" - I think you will get a little giggle lol. I've been watching your videos for a while and every time you say that word I can't help but smile, because, well, why ISN'T it pronounced that way?! XD

I got the same floret seeds (dahlias and zinnias) and I had 9-10 out of 12 germinated. I used a similar seed starting mix, and misted daily. Kept them on a heat mat and indoors under an LED light (nothing special) under the greenhouse dome thingie until they sprouted, then took the cover off but left on the heat mat. I think they need warmer temps to get germinated. Could you try putting them on a heat mat? Are they too late to be saved? So frustrating to feel like they are wasted, I hope you can salvage some of them!
@Rachel12867
@Rachel12867 2 ай бұрын
What a bummer that your floret seeds didn’t germinate! Every single one of my dahlia’s did. I don’t know what it could be! I used Espoma seed starting mix. Maybe since you said that the zinnia’s germinated then disappeared your seed starting mix could be contaminated with fungus that caused the seedlings to dampen off. Either that or I know that could happen with unclean seed starting trays. Regardless though I’m sure your garden will be beautiful this year. I agree though those seeds are wayyy too expensive. It’s not really realistic to continually repurchase… especially when most seeds are like a few bucks a pack!

So honestly I have a soul seat (one of the various brands for similar seats - only one level though and still very expensive). I hardly use it. Also have ADHD and it helps but only *sometimes*. You might have a different experience but I almost never use it because it doesn't have the back support I often need. It does help with my weird gremlin seating positions though when the mood strikes!
@PiousPallasAthene

But that said it also doesn't get used because of the ADHD because it's not in the same room as my work computer so... That might honestly be the bigger issue. I should move it.

I bought some really cheap seedling starter trays off amazon and they came with grow lights. I put them inside my home, not in my greenhouse, and 100% of everything I’ve planted has sprouted. I used normal seedling starter soil as well and nothing else. I misted them with a water bottle every night and left the grow lights on overnight. Could try that 🫶

The reason you sit in funny positions in your office chair is office chairs were not designed for women. Maybe try a foot rest and see if that makes a difference.
