Looks fantastic. When I saw that you were going to originally use two different tiles on the floor, I was worried because even if you were to use the same tile, if it's not the same lot number, you can run into problems (ask me how I know this). Glad it all worked out in the end. Cheers!

I’m right in the middle of that “identity” crisis myself! My husband and I have a 17 month old as well as a 2.5 month old…and my entire life is being a mama (I say that with the biggest smile and fullest heart). I have the sweatshirts, the necklaces, and even a Mother’s Day gift from my hubby with our boys’ initials in the chain of the necklace…and you’re absolutely right…there’s so much PRIDE in being “Mama” to our boys!!!! Plus it was our older baby’s first word 😊 But I do feel like I’ve lost parts of myself along the way. I’ve been a CNA since 2019 and have been dreaming of the day I’d finish my RN program….you are very relatable to me right now. We also want one final baby in a couple of years, so I’m desperately trying to find that balance of “rockstar mama” and just “Pamela”. Thank you for sharing! I needed this video today ❤️

I watched you for the first time today. Great job on organizing your kitchen. I have one tip for you. Store nuts like pecans and walnuts in your freezer. They go rancid if you don’t. Have a blessed day and enjoy the fruits of your labors.

In any third world country, where are no diapers, kids do not have problems with potty. Babies as little as 1 year old are slowly trained to sit on potty.

I really hope you see this comment as I think it might really help you in your hypermobility journey. I got the same diagnosis after years of chronic pain, but I came across pain reprocessing therapy (PRT), which led me to watch Howard Schubiner's Talks at Google on Chronic Pain, which led me to read Howard Schubiner's book, "Unlearn Your Pain,"...and in 3 weeks, I'm 80% better and on the road to a full recovery from a life of pain. I wanted to tell you because I've been following you for a long time and I want to shout about this from the rooftops to anyone suffering or who has a hypermobility diagnosis like I did. Schubiner says that chronic pain happens because your brain has been sending signals of pain, anxiety, fatigue, etc. when dealing with stress, emotions, fear, etc. that reinforce the same neural pathways of sending pain. This is backed by neuroscience and there are really crazy interesting studies of the brain and pain, which he references in his books and talks. Please check him out! It can't hurt!

I never comment on KZbin. This would be my first time. I am a fairly new mom and I love how you incorporate your hobbies with motherhood. My husband has been writing a novel for years and it is very dear to him. There’s something exciting about creating a your own. Keep up the good work. Writing a novel is something to be proud of no matter what happens.

I actually think how the kettle looks now its burnt, gives it more character. I feel like you can imagine it's been well used and loved by people throughout the years, or maybe that's too deep and I need to stop reading books 😂 I'm sorry you get comments about being seen as 'not-mumming' enough just because you don't film all of that type of content. Or talking about your book a lot. Please ignore comments like that. We are so proud of you, we understand you are a full time mum even if we're not seeing it 100% of the time. We love that you've found something you're passionate about and love hearing about your journey with writing. This is your channel, your life. We're just here for the ride ❤

All of the ones that have been here forever (like me) have watched you and your channel grow! I love to see it evolve and I love to see your hobbies come through and be out into this world. I’m currently in the trenches with a baby and I love watching your channel as a pick me up. No matter the content.

Im not into book stuff but its so great to see your passion for it! I dont feel you talk about it too much and definitely dont feel u are trying to sell it to us. Things change over the yrs as your kids grow through their seasons of life and u change and grow with them and find yourself and your interests again and new passions. We need to have them too as our kids get older and independent. I love all the home and garden stuff u do. Dont change anything ❤

I completely resonate with you on needing an identity outside of motherhood. sometimes I shame myself when I feel like I’m being selfish or not finding enough fulfillment in my role as a mother, but it’s really important to feel like a human being too. I always remind myself he is only little for so long and I will soak it up too, but I have to feel like a human even in these years. having personal projects and goals gives us purpose. being a mama is a full time job and motherhood doesn’t have to be what fills our cup all the time. its valuable and valid to have other things that fulfill us.

Megan, I feel as if you are speaking directly to me about finding identity outside of motherhood! I have been a SAHM for 11 years, it was my entire identity for that time. Now my little one is going to kinder this fall and I will have much more time on my hands. I'm looking to find my identity by going back to teaching again. After 11 years, I hope to be back in the classroom and be mom and teacher, not just mom. Your writing, my teaching; here's to new beginnings for us!

As a Mother who can't have anymore children, it's refreshing to watch a mother who is finding their own identity as themselves. I've watched many KZbinrs over the years starting from when I had my son in 2019 and they are still pumping out kid after kid and I find them so unrelatable now. Your content is amazing, it's made me try hobbies I never would have imagined doing. I grew flowers this year thanks to you. Please don't be discouraged by the comments because you're amazing xx

Finding identity outside of motherhood is such a game changer! I’m so glad you found writing again! And idk about you but seeing someone so passionate about something even if it’s not something I’m doing is contagious. I’ve found it encouraging to continue finding myself outside of motherhood. It’s so hard to “win” on the internet. And I feel like people are extra critical these days.

I started to declutter when I was just desperate to simplify my life. The most difficult thing for me was feeling guilty over wedding gifts. But I allowed myself to enjoy my living space. I no longer wanted my home to be a storage space for guilt clutter. I'm finally confident enough in my journey that I can boldly let family know that I don't want any gifts for the holidays. Just quality time is all the gift I need. The first Christmas I did no gifts it was so freeing to not have to figure out where things go. I don't have kids though. But I still suggest freeing yourself of your guilt clutter.

To salvage the copper kettle, cook something tomato based, like tomato soup (Campbell’s is pretty inexpensive) put the kettle in the hot soup and it should clean the copper pretty well. Learned this when growing up with copper bottom pans.
