Hello. I am not sure if I show this in the Vid, if not, sorry. You can‘t chose an arbitrary angle, only 45 and 90 degrees, but you can set points your track goes along by clicking. Kicad will always choose the shortest path between the starting or last point, and if that is a straight line with a 90 degree ang, it will do that.

I might have not made that clear in my Video, sorry for that. Depending on the components you have or are planning on using you can search for the right footprint. If you don’t yet know which exact components you are going to use , you can just do a quick google search for an appropriate component
