I also have the same experience, watches with circular indices seem to have better lume than watches with rectangular indices. Very nice collection, enjoyed watching!

Fantastic video Greg. I'm a seiko fan too. Love what you did with your Orient (isn't that a Mako?). Got me thinking of doing the same. Squale do a blasted case black dial 1521 which looks similar but is 3x the price.

I prefer field watches over divers. I do have a black waffle king turtle and addiesdive 1970. Divers stop at just 2. I love my seiko srpg27. Going to buy seiko srph25 and hamilton khaki 38mm in bracelet, then stop from buying mechanicals. Nothing else is catching my eye at present time. I daily Timex Expedition Scout, Black Tonnier Weekender and Casio mrw-210h.

I really want that green waffle king turtle! Addiesdive/steeldive make some awesome watches. The SD1979 is my fav. SRPH25 looks cool, i'm a fan of black watches. I prefer a good mix of both mechanical and quartz so I understand. Timex makes the best field watch dials/hand sets hands down
