Today we reviewing a rubber strap from Divecore - a brand that, despite me advising them NOT to send me a strap, decided to do it anyway.
At first I didn't know what exactly I would say about a strap, but after recieving it and using it, I must say it IS different and has a bunch of details that DOES make it better than some other ones found on the market.
From the FKM rubber used, to the FAT quick release springbars and way more sizing positions as well as a simple ut effective way of keeping the keeper where it's supposed to be, Divecore took a regular strap and improved it everywhere where it matters.
This is the first time that I am positivively surprised by the amount of thought that went into every single detail of a product!

I love my Divecore FKM straps. I've got the 20mm on my Seiko SLA049 and the 22mm on my Seiko SBBN049. Fat spring bars are a must.

I agree with you 100%. A good strap makes a world of difference! FKM is a fantastic strap material! Those pins seem super solid!

I bought a 22mm and 20mm a few months ago and they are very good.

Silicone for comfort, steel for durability and nylon for hard work. I've used rubber or Nato on most of the watches I wear as backup for my dive computer. I no longer dive on a daily or weekly basis, but for about 22 years those were my go-to straps. Never underestimate the value of thick springbars - they've saved many an expensive watch from getting lost.

Looks like the shroud fits into the groove on the strap. I have the 600m Historical reissue and the shroud always contacts the strap making the watch ride high but this strap seems to take care of that.

Could you check the spring bar on the clasp buckle? Some brands use very thin spring bars which might be an issue

Is it scented? My Glycine rubber straps are vanilla scented. I really enjoy that. I don’t think I own an FKM rubber strap, but It wasn’t until your review that I got a better understanding of what makes them so popular. Thanks.

Looks like a nice strap. I have recently had a problem with a strap with those type spring bars not fitting other watches that are not Seiko's so that is something to think about. Also if it is $55 that is pretty not amazing and I would not consider it.

These are really nice straps, but the customer service is not good...I have been waiting two weeks now for a response to my $150+ order of 3 straps. So far they have ignored my very polite emails, so not sure what's going on. I haven't had a problem with them in the past, so my guess is they're overwhelmed with demand since I've seen the straps on several YT channels recently, but at minimum they could put an auto-responder on their email telling me that... customer service 101 guys!
