But a lot of the time people cremate the body, which is a process where they put the body in a large furnace and burn the body until it’s just ashes and then the family keeps the ashes to remember them. (Also ashes are the aftermath of a fire, you know the white bits of dust when you go to a bonfire? Those are ashes.)
