I have been struggling for weeks with vector calculus. Most KZbin videos don’t make any clear linear sense. Yours do. You explain this properly. Thank you so much x

After seeing many videos on youtube related to divergence, stokes and greens theorem, these are the best that covers right from statement of the theorem, intuitive understanding and examples... Specially this video is the best as the instructor clearly summaries all the three theorems.... excellent

I'm glad you find these helpful. The treatment of the theory is less rigorous than what you might find for a vector calculus course (these were created for a multivariable calculus class), but an intuitive overview of the theory is helpful for any student studying math.

Ma'am how can the inflow and out flow be different in that specific region. Do you mean the difference will be in area occupied by expansion of rays or number of rays exceeds?

interesting...but going from R3 to R2 and backwards doesn't do any good to me..it just gets confusing (moreover that you don't change everything each time.... like the "R3" writting...) this theorem is soooo powerfull and can be explained so easily with common sense... i agree it needs some mathematical formalism but it is so intuitive that you could do your many videos into one with common sense...(i work with it everyday so i might be wrong about the intuitivity of it...) (anyway nice video (plus one for me ^^ )

The texts I use, Rogawski and Stewart, both sketch the proof but don't do a detailed explanation. I believe Lovric's "Vector Calculus" has a better treatment of the proof, but I don't have the text available to me currently.
