i’d say it actually gets “hard” once you reach protocol 5. the only way you are beating v6 is if you have the firefly team or get JUST enough blessings and curious to rig the enemies rotation. I reset my first v6 so many times because it was swarm and it was absolutely possible for me to beat it with enough tries.

The RNG needed to be perfect. Having a wide variety of team comps to use is also helpful if you couldn't get the equations you need for a specific team. I tried to clear v6 by using a DoT team, but switched to other teams depending on the equations (IPC fua, DHIL hyper, etc...). Got a run that made me use DHIL Hypercarry and got very lucky that the final boss was Sam and used Luocha, Aventurine, Sparkle, and DHIL.

None of them are hard. You just need to make sure you unlock a 3 star equation that fits the units you use. They even make it easier for you by allowing you to reroll blessings and equations. Like for instance, If i'm clearing with Blade/Luocha/Jade/Robin, I wanna make sure you get the 3 star equation BORISIN since that deal a shit ton of damage, then I wanna get the the 3 star destruction dmg share blessing and enhance it. Then get some Elation/Erudition blessings for Blade and Jade's dmg and take anything that increases my max hp. Worst case scenario you're dmg is lacking, but you won't die

it's really just a massive rng rest. if you get the equations and blessings you need and one of the bosses that gets countered by your team, easy win. if not, it's hard. i guess there is some strategy with knowing which blessings/equations/teams to pick and which domains to frequent, but all that doesn't really matter when you use 1k fragments to reroll your blessings and still don't get the one you need to activate your equation i had to do 10+ runs for DU 4 because i kept getting horribly unlucky while i beat DU 6 first try with no struggle at all because i got pretty lucky. IP3 team btw

I was wondering why it was so hard. As soon as you said encounter I understood. Something I learnt very early on is that you just do not take encounters. They have good rewards and can be fine, but a lot of the time it'll be insanely hard no matter how good your characters are unless you have duel sustain, absolutely cracked relics, or eidolons/LCs. Remember, encounters are usually harder than literally every other fight in simulated universe.

@@Voidling977they also aren’t worth the hassle: normal combat, adventure, reward, and even normal occurrence are more worth than Encounter, due to normal combat giving 3 blessings for low effort, adventure when 3 star gives 2 occurrences, 2 blessings, and around 200 cosmic fragments, which if you get barrels and you have Jingliu and firefly is easy, and if you have trotter or sundial domain, you can just use sparkle or firefly. As for occurrence, unless it’s curio hacker 2, or the off-chance of curio hacker 1 becoming two, you should be fine, with the swarm being a bit of a hassle, but u can always flee if you don’t think your able to clear, but you also have a chance of Ruan Mei domains, since they only spawn in Occurance domains, even tho they really are just reward domains, and while on that, reward domains are just a no brainer, and besides mirror, their isn’t a combat domain inside of reward domains. Really, Encounter domains are one of the worst domains in SU, and it’s arguably better to go into shops than encounter domains. (If you have enough money, u can buy out everything, be up 12 blessings and get 6 curios, which most times, will boot your power tremendously, especially if eidolon cheese and golden coin is inside of the shop.) It really is a no brainer.

i cleared DU V6 with ease thanks to the OP abundance/DOT set up i had going. at the end all my characters had over 10k hp and would heal every time any of these circumstances were met: ally turn, every time an enemy took dot damage, every skill use on top of that the DOT was doing crazy damage and my team also did insane amounts of damage with ultimates, my black swan and fu xuan were doing over 1.5 million

The only reason I beated the 6 difficulty was because I got firefly e1, got the artifact that gives you an extra eidolon, went full hunt, destruction and remenberance, I only won because he never fought back, and even then I chocked using gallagher ult and almost got wiped by sam (yes I used firefly agaisnt sam because I didnt actually knew who was the boss), firefly was only able to clutch because sam summons minions at the start of each face in DU, thanks to that firefly went like 6-7 turns in a row and he finally died

Personally, anyone with follow-ups is fun except for Topaz cause I think throwing a pig is lame. Blade, Aventurine, and Ratio are 3 of the most fun characters for me. Herta, Himeko, and most especially Jade are sooo fun in PF. Bootycheeks is also very fun. Unlike Firefly, I don't need HMC with him and when he breaks the enemies, it's so satisfying. I don't get that feeling with Firefly. Hmm who else? Yeah I still think Jing Yuan is fun cause idk, I just think the lightning lord is cool, but if cycles count when I play him, it's annoying cause we only get 1 lightning lord per cycle. E2 DHIL is also very cool to use, love the feeling of obliterating enemies. Argenti is also very fun esp in GnG. Those are like my faves to use.

Finished VI today after leaving it for a few months. Firefly team. Had the good fortune of encountering Sam at the end. Stupidest fight ever due to her hiding her damned weaknesses making break teams almost hell to play. Won after a few tries but holy hell is she annoying. Poor Gallagher barely had a chance to heal the team before she took 3 turns and nuked RM or TB into the grave. Seeing a diff2 fight like this after that ordeal really does drive home the importance of literacy.
