There is a vessel called the Horizon owned by NOAA but I found no Dr. Amelia Foster. There is a Dr. Nancy Foster… so it seems to me that they’re using AI prompts to generate an evocative story from bits and pieces of scraped data. The LLM wording is SO high school English level dramatic writing. 🤦
